As a fine artist the challenge has always been to create a work that is true to my perceptions, may it be an object of beauty or a message about human interaction/intrusion in the landscape.
Bretten–Anne obtained her Fine Arts Degree from Rhodes University in 1991 and went on to complete a Higher Diploma in Art Education with three distinctions in 1994. Her work varies from figurative and contemporary images to commissions for clients.
B A Moolman feels strongly about natural and social situations and reflects upon this in her work. She has an inherent love for the landscape as the Karoo was her stomping ground in her youth.
Her works are in private collections nationally and abroad. She has held eight solo exhibitions, the most recent being: The Farmer’s Almanac held at Grande Provence Franschhoek Western Cape in September 2021. She is currently working towards her next solo at GFI Gallery in October 2026.
She owns and runs the business: Art on Target which comprises of an art school, gallery and art studios at 2 Target Kloof, Essexvale in Port Elizabeth.
